Congratulations Ms. Janine Tugonon! As a Thomasian, I am truly proud of you. I was looking after three Thomasian candidates last night and I was happy that two out of the three made it to Top 12. What’s even more great was when the Q&A portion came, Janine nailed it! I shrieked and I couldn’t be any happier knowing that my fellow Thomasians were, and are, and I guess will be, making names in the world of beauty! Then the announcement came, but I wasn’t that surprised at all since I read Varsitarian’s tweet minutes before. But I truly believe that you deserved the crown this year and I think our country has a great shot in the Miss Universe 2012 pageant. What do you think, Thomasians? Who couldn’t be proud, right? I read in FB awhile ago and I want to post it here: “The most beautiful lady in the country is a Thomasian. Let the Universe be her stage.” So the Universe is all yours to take, Janine!
